The Journey That Inspired Path to Overcoming™

Pushing through. Carrying the weight. Showing up no matter what. Like many people, I learned how to survive long before I learned how to truly live.

My Professional Journey

I am a Registered Nurse, healthcare leader, speaker, author, and founder of Path to Overcoming™. My journey has taken me through many roles within healthcare — hospitals, correctional settings, private care, long-term care, and leadership. Over the years, I advanced from Certified Nursing Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, and eventually Director of Nursing.

These experiences gave me a firsthand understanding of the pressures individuals face while caring for others, leading teams, and maintaining performance under demanding circumstances.

The Personal Journey Behind the Work

Long before I became a nurse, I was a young girl trying to make sense of experiences that left lasting impressions on how I viewed myself and the world. As an immigrant from Cameroon, I navigated significant transitions, grief, cultural adjustment, and moments that forced me to confront who I was beneath the roles I carried.

Why Path to Overcoming™ Exists

Path to Overcoming™ was born from a simple but powerful realization: many people are functioning successfully while feeling disconnected from themselves. They are leading, caregiving, producing, and serving while carrying patterns they have never had the opportunity to fully examine.

Path to Overcoming™ was created to help individuals and organizations recognize those patterns, reconnect with their authentic identity, and move forward with greater awareness, intentionality, and alignment.

“The goal is not perfection. The goal is authenticity.”
